Vibrant landscapes in fibre art
Jennifer is an award-winning fibre artist, born in Scotland and living in Paris, Ontario. Jennifer paints with wool and draws with thread to create felted paintings. Jennifer has exhibited in group and solo exhibitions throughout Ontario and Scotland and has taught in the Outer Hebrides, Shetland Islands, the Scottish Highlands and closer to home in Ontario. She is delighted to be participating in the Frederick Art Walk again.

Silver and copper jewelry
Nicola Martin finds inspiration for her jewelry in nature and in the urban environment. She experiments with fusing, texturing and adding gemstones to create one-of-a-kind pieces of silver jewelry and limited series. Nicola looks to the warm glows of silver and the changeable surface of copper as malleable materials for her ideas. All of her work begins with sterling silver sheet and wire. Nicola hand-fabricates all her jewelry pieces in her Kitchener studio. She is excited to be returning to the Artwalk again!

Jill Mathers is a Kitchener-based encaustic and acrylic artist inspired by the quiet beauty of the natural world—forest walks, open skies, moments by the water, and time spent in her garden. Her process is intuitive, allowing each piece to evolve organically. Through abstract forms and layered textures,
Jill creates work that invites a sense of calm, reflection, and openness.
Her work has been exhibited at Paint Ontario, Art Comp, Homer Watson House & Gallery, Kultiq Studio, and Blue Crow Gallery in Toronto. She is a member of the Tiny Ass Art Gallery in St. Jacobs and has participated several times in the Brush Off at the Museum.

Kelly Dunnington is an award- winning mixed media collage artist whose vibrant, colourful paper paintings aim to share a sense of positivity, joy, and playful spirit. Kelly takes small pieces of painted patterned paper and collages it onto an acrylic painting. Her work has been featured at the Registry Theatre, Neruda Arts Centre, Button Factory, Paint Ontario and the Blue Crow Gallery in Toronto. When she’s not in the studio, she’s a mom, teacher, outdoor adventurer, and live music fan.
