GWN Tie Dye
(Daf Summers)
Fibre arts

Hand-dyed upcycled clothing, fabrics, yarns

Daf, a tie dye artist who has been painting yarns since 2012, created GWN Tie Dye in 2023, after a season of learning a new technique, known as ice dyeing. Daf noticed while there are many tie dye artists, there are very few dye-blending companies in Canada. She began designing dye blends that split into spectacular colours for ice dyeing techniques for the vibrant tie dye community.

Daf upcycles woven, jersey and terry cloth fabrics/clothing/yarns to give new life to curated upcycled fashion and home decor pieces. Daf also makes bespoke hand dyed, handcrafted pieces in knitting, crochet, macrame and weaving.

Daf has a deep love for making extraordinary and eye popping fibres, textile designs, and colours on every imaginable surface.
